The gorgeous weather brought out record number of visitors to the Balboa Park on this Sunday. We prepared the scene early morning: three tables were by the street side and another three inside the house full with home made pastries like the poppy seed filled "beigli". In front of the house we installed the "palacsinta" – production line, where the crapes were baked and filled with customer selected goodies: chocolate pudding, walnuts with apricot jam, etc. On the right side we built a tent for the main dishes; we offered Hungarian B.B.Q. sausages with buns, cabbage and potato here. We had lots of visitors who left our house with a great Hungarian taste of food. See you again next year!
A nagyszerű idő sok embert vonzott ki a Balboa Parkba ezen a vasárnapon. Korán reggel elkészítettük a terepet: három asztal az utca mellett, másik három a házban roskadozott a házi készítésű sütemények alatt, mint például a mákos beigli. A ház előtt építettük meg a palacsinta gyártósort, ahol a tészta sütése, és töltése zajlott a vásárlók kívánsága szerinti finomságokkal: csokoládés pudinggal, mogyorós baracklekvárral, stb. A ház jobb oldalán sátrat állítottunk fel a fő attrakcióra, itt magyaros kolbászt, káposztát és krumplit szolgáltunk fel, de lehetett kolbászos bucit is venni. Sok látogatónk volt, akik egy jó magyar ízzel a szájukban távoztak. Viszontlátásra jövőre!
